Just 25 minutes from the City of London, more than 40,000 people live in Thamesmead on the south bank of the Thames (SE28). It is divided between the London Borough of Bexley and Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Three stations serve the area: Plumstead, Abbey Wood and Belvedere. The line offers direct trains to Charing Cross and Cannon Street in central London, as well as to Gillingham, Dartford and beyond. Drivers can pick up the South/North Circular Roads at nearby Woolwich, giving easy to access to whole city.
