Why rent offices in SW10?
SW10 includes the London districts of West Brompton and part of Chelsea. The area falls under two London local authorities – Hammersmith and Fulham, and Kensington and Chelsea. Each borough is served by an active chamber of commerce, offering networking and other business support services.
The area runs from the Old Brompton Road down to the River Thames and includes the Brompton Cemetary (where you’ll find a number of Native American graves) and the World’s End Estate. Lots Road and its auction houses are at the area’s southern edge and SW10 extends as far as upmarket Chelsea Harbour, where you’ll find the designers’ Mecca of the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour and the five-star Chelsea Harbour Hotel on the waterfront. The Stamford Bridge stadium of Chelsea Football Club lies just on the western border of SW10.
The area is served by West Brompton rail station, which lies a stone’s throw outside the north-western tip of SW10 and is on the District Line of the London Underground and also the London Overground route from Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction. A Tube ride to Paddington main line takes just 12 minutes, while Embankment is 20 minutes away via Earl’s Court. Imperial Wharf station, also on the Overground route, lies at the Chelsea Harbour end of SW10.
Both stations are also on the Southern Railways route from East Croydon with connections to Milton Keynes (an hour-and-a-quarter), Birmingham (two hours) and the North West (Manchester is three-and-a-quarter hours away). In addition, a few hundred metres from SW10 to the west lies Fulham Broadway station on the District Line. At Chelsea Harbour you can take a half-hour river service to Canary Wharf in Docklands, via London’s South Bank Centre.
