Office space in EC4

The EC4 postcode district roughly covers the south-western corner of the City of London. It is an area with a detailed history that still thrives and attracts tourists, alongside modern developments that ensure its success as a business location. Why choose offices in EC4?

EC4 is a place where history and modern life are closely entwined. While St Paul’s Cathedral sits at the top of Ludgate Hill, London’s highest peak, Fleet Street, famous for printing and publishing, is now one of EC4’s most successful business districts.

Most British national newspapers operated from Fleet Street by the 20th century, but it is now more associated with the investment banking, legal and accountancy professions. Many of the old newspaper offices have become the London headquarters for big businesses.

Also in EC4 is Temple, one of the main legal districts of the capital and a notable centre for English law, both historically and in the present day. Temple contains many barristers' chambers, solicitors' offices, as well as some notable legal institutions such as the Employment Appeal Tribunal.

Temple also gives its name to one of EC4’s many transport links; Temple tube station, served by the District and Circle lines. Another is Blackfriars, the site of several large financial companies and investment banks.

National Rail services run between Blackfriars station and Bedford, St Albans City and Luton to the north, and Brighton, Sutton and Sevenoaks to the south. The Underground station is served by both the District and Circle lines.

Mainline and Tube services also run from Chancery Lane and all parts of the EC4 area are well served by buses.
